Zebras. Black with white stripes or white with black stripes?

    Picture.

Some people think they’re black with white stripes. Others subscribe to the idea that they are white with black stripes.

    Also the Bible says things.

What do you think? Do zebras have white stripes on black body-fuzz or are they in fact black-striped white horse-type things?

(Now bring forth my 50-billion comments and e-props, my xanga-bitches!)

  • Perfect. Brilliant. Awesome.

And I’m certain the satire is going to fly over a lot of people’s heads.
    Well done :)

  • iono mang, definitely look white with black stripes to me. especially their stomachs.

  • @lightandfaith - Thank you, thank you

@Dungeonbrownies - Agreed. Oops… I’m not meant to give my real viewpoint, am I….?

  • They LOOK white with black stripes, but I suppose we’ll never know.  Unless they are shaved, I suppose.

  • I do not know you, but I appreciate this post.

  • Black with white :P

  • Is there any point in knowing or arguing the point?

Maybe we SHOULD shave them and see what colour their skin is.
Judging from the stripes on the one in the picture, he seems to be white with black stripes, however, than does not mean different phenotypes don’t exist, perhaps black with white stripes…
    ..Am I overthinking things again?

  • My parents told me that they are black with white stripes, so that is what they are. Stop arguing everyone, I have known from the moment of conception that zebras are black on white. It is obviously correct and everyone who thinks otherwise is just stupid. Also, I read it in a book. Sure some pages say that they are white with black stripes, but the parts that my parents told me to read say they are black with white stripes, so that is true. I am right.

(sadly, your zebra isn’t mine, but it could be like mine if it stopped having the wrong stripes and started being white on black…. I’m on a zebra).

  • @haloed - I wonder if their skin is just pinky underneath, though, thus not answering our question….

@Wait_by_Moonlight - thanks for the appreciation!

@theender1 - just to be contrary, huh Mike?

@ShinRaijin - yes Calex, you are. Partly cos this post was 100% satire and the zebra question is totally irrelevant… but you had no way of knowing that

@sarven - yours is not the One True Zebra. Mine is.

  • That zebra has a very large head. Is that normal?

  • @ sarven- lol

I think I read on a trip to the zoo one time that their skin is black, therefore black with white stripes?

  • They are black with white stripes. lol

  • according to the bible, black is the mark of sin. those zebras need to be baptized in the holy water of the prophets and with the fire of the lord jesus christ (HALLELUJAH! PRAISE THE LORD!) to cleanse them of their wicked ways that will otherwise drag them down to the depths of hell where they will burn for eternity if they do not REPENT! AMEN?!

  • @mercurialmusic -  them having black stripes is a CHOICE!

  • HA HA HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You are quite funnah!

  • For a greater effect, add “Xanga” into the title and/or the Xanga logo picture as well.

  • LOL !!!
I think they are white with black stripes.

    @moss_icon -

  • btw, i think that made my evening .
